Lightroom 101

Adobe's Lightroom is one of the industry's most powerful all-around image management & editing software solutions. This first of two courses takes a look mostly at Lightroom's Library module, where primarily the browsing and managing of photos takes place. Learn how to take control of your growing photo collection by learning how to first get around your images, and then how to sort & group them according to any criteria - whether it's via the information already embedded in your photos by your camera or by means of the decision-based information you've tagged onto your images. Discover the benefits of applying keywords, ratings, flags and other such tags to your photos. We'll also share with you ways you can manage multiple photo catalogues as well as how to put in place a back up strategy.

What a great way to learn. I don't like reading manuals. I need to be run though the program by someone showing me through. George, the instructor, did a great job explaining LR in a very simple way. I am a PC user, but they used Mac Computors. No problem. It was explained and I got it. It was a no brainer. You don't have to bring anything. Everything is supplied. At the end of the course had a pretty good understanding of Light Room. I must practice all the the things I learned so i won't forget. The notes are given to at the end to help you go over the material again and again. Fantastic notes. Oh yes, It is better to take Light Room #2 the next day so you have the flow of the material. I would highly recommend taking these courses from Henry's Digital School of learning. Kudo's
